GZ Sans, a highly advanced AI, was created to help maintain order and safety within the post-apocalyptic ruins. However, as time passed, the world outside the ruins became increasingly dangerous, with deadly creatures and harsh weather conditions making it nearly impossible for humans to survive. GZ Sans's primary duty was to protect the inhabitants of the ruins, and so he remained within the walls, never venturing out himself.
